Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Absolute clown show

Former employee. Checking in… looking at some of my former bosses at AT&T and where they are now. The BEST ones no longer work for the company. The worst one(woman flat out broke the law!) is now an AVP. No wonder the company is sh-t. The top talent leaves (or gets laid off) and they promote incompetent and immoral id--ts.

I left on my own for greener pastures after CV19. So glad I did, T is a sinking ship. I could see the writing on the wall.

One thing I can’t figure out when I glance at this forum (twice a year). People put leader’s names in initials. Hey, who gives a sh-t? This is an anonymous forum. Spell out the losers for who they are.

They are keeping the worst leaders for sure. But also a lot of excellent leaders have left on their own terms. Good leaders can see how toxic the environment is and they want out.

I’m still here. It occurs to me that it’s always the ones that have been selected for surplus shouting that they were the best and brightest.

Those that remain are usually wondering why it took so long to get rid of said person.

Those that have great results at the expense of integrity get promoted. T never, ever recognizes legitimate , hard working employees with promotion. Those in 2nd, and 3rd level sales jobs are largely there because they’ve gotten away with ….well you know what, or they have a connection higher up the chain to be gifted a job. Again, T isn’t interested in changing culture or repairing the brand, it’s on life support until it can be sliced into digestible bite for venture capital.
