That total includes the sale of Yahoo with more than 11,000. The 14,000 that took the VSP and the 1,500 tagged for Infosys but only 1,000 took the transfer. Then add the recent 3,500 that went with HCL.
So glad I was retirement eligable and prepared when they tagged me. Checking om to see of it got better or worse for my survivor friends. Happy holdays
I don't think that'll matter.

@2rfn+1pUACwlB> you know we're not done losing people. Better luck next time.
If you look at the total job losses including those sold to other companies like Frontier you can look at a number well over 50K.
14,000 of those cuts were the VSP and about 1,000 of the 1,500 tagged that went to Infosys. Even so, the remaining is a pretty sizeable number in 5 years and may not even include the recent deal with HCL.
And I don think those 32,000 job cuts under hans includes the people who left under the VSP or any other voluntary plan and a lot of those people left because they were afraid of being let go anyway.
