I'm entitled to 2 years of severance pay if I get laid off, so, of course I want to be laid off. However, at this point I would settle for only 1 year of severance if they were to make me an offer! That's how badly I want out of this asylum! I think I might even settle for 6 months severance!

Have been dealing with that for decades and have planned accordingly. Fat 401K, pension. Will retire early, and SS money will be funny money when I'm eligible.

Most of the workers in Bloomington MN want the package, especially those with over 31 years who'd get 2 years pay to leave - so of course we want it.
Union Dreg here. I'll take 1 year of pay to leave. I'd like it better if I am "forced" to leave, 1 1/2 years pay.
