Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

New Retail territory manger

Anybody know where they are implementing The new RTM position? What the grade level is and what the pay parameters are vs the current SR grade level 4 position is. Thanks

I have heard about this role. In Texas many have resigned. I don’t think more layoffs, I’m betting on DMs cut in half, RMS demoted to new sales rep. Each will get 4-7 less stores. They will stay because will need fires put out. It’s basically a SA type roll. The kicker on ALL this, if mid management pushes this, reps eventually gone, mid management won’t be needed. Similar to Kelloggs. All lost jobs.

If you want to know the pay grade, you should probably use your ask HR tab on your tablet and inquire from them. I doubt anyone on here is going to really know

Okay, great information, what's the pay grade? SR is currently pay grade 4, what's the pay grade for the "new position?"

The CTM positions down here in the South were and are a test position. The office initially thought they would try it in the rural areas 1st since there would probably be less pushback from the customers and could be more easily justified because of geography with some stores being 30 minutes to an hour apart from each other. Honestly though, it could work. The stores at this point are now accustomed to subpar service and order writers are now more identified as the real key person in the Nabisco chain. Sales reps are now more seen as clean up people that can be called in to clean up major and minor messes created by inexperienced people and oftentimes lazy people. I think the CTM position will replace the RMS position but at the same time cut the sales rep positions in half one more time or at least 1/4 less reps. The CTM right now is responsible for 1 or 2 stores fully but those stores can be transitioned back into the fold after changes are made.

The CTM positions in the South were a test.
They will be rolling it out everywhere in April…
Lots more SRs will be offered packages, the ones left will take the new role with more responsibilities and probably a T Shirt.
RMS will transition into new roles or step back into SR positions.

I'm guessing you mean the current CTM position like the ones they are using in some of the south area. Basically, the sales rep position is changed to this position wherein the CTM serves as a sort of RMS with the authority to hire, fire , recruit, train and on board his/her direct reports ( order writers and part time merchandisers).
They had to apply and interview for the position and were promised a better salary. The ones you talk to now say the pay was not much more for the amount of responsibilities thrown on them. I doubt any new positions created like this will come with a raise as our company seems to believe we should be grateful to just have a job. The original new style sales reps if you recall were given pay raises when the program started. The rest of us were just placed into our new positions , both sales reps and order writers.

Dm’s and rms’s are nonexistent anyway and their pictures should be up on the Walmart missing people wall

Oh, sounds wonderful! You forgot that you could have all this while watching your boss sit on their butt.
