Teleconference maybe, but that is like ten percent of the people in the building.

When you want to be laid off just to receive that 2 years of severance pay, it never comes. It's when you're least expecting it to come that it blindsides you and catches you off guard when you're not ready for the package. I never saw the offer coming when it did come with no advanced warning and decided not to take the 2 years severance. The point being is NOBODY on this forum knows if or when there will be a layoff, who will be affected or how many will ultimately lose their jobs. This site is ALL speculation at best by employees with wishful thinking on their Christmas gift lists!

LegT/CWA workers get up to two years pay when laid off - so most of us WANT to be laid off next announcement date December 15th - an early Christmas present when Santa comes to Towne. LOL

That's my office. There are 3 separate call centers in Bloomington and several departments on the 3rd floor that isn't related to the 3 call centers. For sure one is closing they were told 2 years ago it was coming, but not given a date.

It's highly unlikely that they are closing the entire building.

Does the OP have any additional info to share about this?

I disagree with poster who says posts don’t have any real info. Many come in here to share truthful info to try to help one another.

What is the Retail Office?

There's no possible way that anyone who would write anything on this shallow forum would have any real factual knowledge of an office closing. As much as I personally would love to get the VTP, I truly hope it's not an office closing because I don't want any of my coworkers who want and need their job to Involuntarily lose their job. I believe the OP is full of $chitt. Go Wild!

I assume you mean the Call-Center and not the Retail Office?

While this will be bad news for a few folks, most will joyously celebrate this announcement.
