Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Has anyone seen the Employee Satisfaction survey results?

Or whatever its called. I've heard some rumblings in town hall and it sounds like the results were pretty ugly for management. Anyone seen anything?

The employee DISsatisfaction survey is receiving high marks.

Didn't waste my time filling it out. We all know they want us to hate working here so we quit. Charlie is only dissapointed that it isn't working. The poor scores were probably cheered by senior management as doing what they were trying to do, make it miserable for all of us to work here. If they work on anything, it'll be how to double down on it all so more people start quitting.

Contrary to the nonsense posted here the results were not favorable for leadership. If they did manipulate the numbers they did a lousy job doing so. Trust, valuing employee feedback, confidence in the direction the company is headed were all terrible (around 60% or so). Put another way, if you are a manager and received this feedback you would be looking for a new job. But as long as Charlie and his directs get this feedback it's OK.

Results in my area were strong when it came to our immediate team and partners. Generally, high satisfaction and high commitment to the cause. The higher you go up the food chain the worse the results become.

If by "saving" you mean running the company into the ground under marching orders from his daddy at JPM, spot on!

WF will not be one of the major national banks soon and it's not because it's incapable of being one, it's because it's being dismantled from the top. It's business suic!de, and it's entirely intentional. No one could possibly be stupid enough to make decisions this bad by accident.

My larger group (maybe 75-100 people) went over the survey results. The general consensus was that we are being overworked and have no time to reflect on how to do things better because we jump from crisis to crisis. The executive's response was to tell us to be more efficient. He knew it was bad but had no real solutions to give us other than "be more efficient" and "be sure to use PTO".

I didn't complete the survey for 2 reasons. 1) nothing is ever addressed 2) management seem to only care about how many people responded not what is said.

I'd love to see employee participation drop to sub 20% levels and see what's said by upper management. One exec I had in the past used to get so upset when he didn't have almost 100% (he would often say it is required not voluntary). It was amazing seeing how red his face got.

@gcg+1pXqu5r7 That is incorrect. I’ve looked several times and can’t see it yet.

@1igq I would much rather tell management "fsck you!" via a survey than not tell them at all.

I did everything possible to highlight that I love my 1 and 2 up but everyone above them was making horrible decisions that destroyed my enjoyment of working here.

Why does ANYONE take the survey?
A much bigger message would be sent by boycotting it.

All who took it are just screaming into the abyss and making C-suite think they are doing their jobs bc you're still engaged.

You know what - Wells is so freaking LAME on these surveys - other two big banks I've worked at always shared the results - even when the results were cr-ppy - management shared them and owned up to them. You have to respect that. Here is just a bunch of d i c k dancing around the results - just take some responsibility for them and do better - not rrally that hard folks!

Charlie is too busy saving Wells Fargo from the dumpster fire to care. Hey Charlie, here's some gasoline for your effort.

@hfu+1pXqu5r7 or more likely people got tired of giving feedback that was being ignored, so didn’t bother.

Yeah, we all hate it here and the new hub is in India pretty much.

yup, I believe this is outside the control of individual mangers. I think responses are more based on what the c suite is doing and not doing

It's a box checking exercise.....there was never any intention in looking at the results. WFB is near bottom with regard to employee satisfaction in comparison with other financial institutions. Chuckles just needs to be able to say they did one.

No, US plebes have learned that everything said in these surveys can and will be used against us throughout the following year as they pile tons of corporate box checking BS on us. F that. Much easier to lie and say everything is just peachy. Nothing is going to change under these clowns in NYC anyway.

What on earth upper management hopes to learn I have no idea. Everyone knows the surveys are not anonymous and criticism will bring retaliation in the form of more pointless meetings and busywork. People say whatever they think will make the whole thing go away.

results have been available for a couple weeks now. slowly trickling out. my favorite is the one around im looking to leave wells. While bad for low level managers I'm sure the c suite loves to see more people wanting to leave
