Thread regarding Ford layoffs

I'd like to share my experience of fighting off PIP or constructive discharge,

You know who I am.

I was put on PIP twice and the first time, I did not lose, but I did not win neither.

Second time, I learned my lesson and everything is wiretapped since my first day of employment, and they are all saved in my lawyer's online drive. Everything about my work has a copy in lawyer's end also protected by attorney client's privilege.

But I have such a bad luck that the good manager quit with most of his loyal team (he has been with the company 35+yrs, with most people quit 5+ or 10+yrs, plus one person died) and the new manager doesn't know better, he wants to play politics. He gets charged in EEOC immediately along with rest of the HR team and he gets sued 15 times on top of that, and everything is being subpoenaed (all communications, and everyone involved including all colleagues, due to being witnesses) Even the company lawyer gets sued also and I am glad all this is enough of a deterrence for the employer to back down. PIP is over, and the supervisor says I did everything perfectly (in fear of further escalation)

The solution is simple. When you deal with employers, you don't send messages. You need to send emotions, you need to deliver fear, so you are in control, not them. And if they don't fear enough, just them more until they quit or commit su|ic|ide, and I will feel so proud of myself.

This isn’t about winning or losing. HR PROTECTS the company not you or the boss. No need for PIP they just fire people twice a year. Problem solved. Lots of horrible bosses for so many y reasons. Do you think J F is a good boss? Nope.

I’d suggest productive pre-emptive actions.
1- keep a document of what you actually do, importance of the tasks, and your running accomplishments, also include your planned projects. All in terms management would understand with technical appendix with details
2- stay out of the coworker swill (gossip and backstabbing)
3- AS SOON AS you hear you are getting a new boss, send a welcome to the team email and attach your document and say you would be happy to meet with them to discuss any changes he/she would like to make to priorities etc. A good boss will be happy to have a reference doc for what his team is doing. A bad boss is subtly put on notice that you are wise to the Ford game and not an easy mark.

The reason you need to do #3 is the devious sorts take the opportunity to bad mouth and claim credit This is typically how the unwarranted PIP processes get initiated because the new boss believes the tales the manipulative and devious spread.

Did anyone notice the huge jump in the cost of the ford retiree insurance? Ford just can't stop giving its employees the shaft!

I asked my two psychological therapists and two psychiatrists for treatment. They are generally shocked at the extent of evil, and no shame in the process. And both psychiatrists said, there is no medication to cure this directly.

A handful of Xanax washed down with a nice bottle of vodka would cure what ails you...

OP, do us and the company a favor and quit.

Here is a prime example of the new soft skills having gone completely berserk. The OP plays these games and annoys everyone, but the soft skills recourse is to hold their hand, try to explain the situation and provide remedies so that its a win-win for everybody! Aint that just precious? In this case, the old ways of dealing with this ahole would be to take them out to the woodshed and I guarantee that the problem would be solved.... for this company, the next company that employs this clown and the clown him/herself.

I hope you get help soon for either your drinking or dr-g addiction or both. You really sound unstable and need help. I hope you find what you need. You seriously need to strongly consider disability leave.

You must be a joy to work with. Your coworkers are so lucky to have you on the team.

You were put on a PIP twice? So that means you are a bad employee on top of being a narcistic loony tune?

Wow, you are obtuse. Go away. You have nothing of value to add to this board or to the company, or any company for that matter. Hopefully, you will go on disability soon and only be a burden to your psychiatrist and self.
