or is T done for the year and waiting for the new year? I'm a tech and hoping to get whacked before this year is up cuz I'm pretty sick of the way this company treats its employees! It's disgraceful, this would have never been this heartless under the old Legacy T regime. SBC comes in and any compassion towards its employees went right out the window!

Both business and retail direct Mobility will be hit disproportionately high in 2024. The road map outlines significant “repositioning” to indirect resources. So yes, mobility sales are needed, unfortunately they will not be badged T employees.

you need to stop feeling this attachment to this job or a job unless is you own business, T has an excellent tution reimbursement get some certifications and pair that with your time in T and you could find another job that may even pay more

I’m a tech who was here when it was SBC .This place went cr-p when we changed our name to ATT . So not sure why you feel this way unless you are talking about back in the hay days when it was the bells
I am sorry you feel this way about working for T. But the reality is T is a 3rd class workplace, it’s like working in the coal mines back in the days.

Management layoffs for Dec 2023 - Not likely.
Union layoffs for Dec 2023 - on the 15th it's likely but relatively small out in the field but could be big in the centers. AT&T is known to have big layoffs in Dec.
