Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Does anyone have signs that the center they work from is closing sooner than later?

Has your center stopped hiring? If so, comment your location.

Is it in the United States and not called Hudson Yards? Ok then, there's your sign.

SLC, UT...InfoSec...I've seen fewer and fewer open roles advertised for the WF Office Tower location (299 S Main). Only other Tech-related location in/near SLC is out by SLC Int'l Airport on Lindbergh or Earhart (one of those aviator-named streets by the airport).

Sioux Falls SD has been on a hiring freeze for more than a year and we were told that is not changing!!! They have also removed all the branding from our building besides the outside sign!!! So probably will be sooner rather than later… probably after the severance is cut in half in 2024!!

Heard that Raleigh, NC is all but done, can anyone confirm? Heard they are telling people to move to Charlotte or resign.

Depends when the leases are up. If they're owned, you know when they are listed for sale, but you won't know until it happens.

I do know about the core/hub strategy John Delaney said they plan to be fully down to that in 2027. I’m just wondering which sites are going first.

Winston-Salem, NC has closed the Linden Center, moving those workers to West End Center. It's also moving people from the tower WEC. Supposedly the lease on WEC is up in 2024.

There hasn't been any substantial hiring into Winston in a long time.
