The stooge who would endure the constant, unplanned interruptions of income throughout a professional career does, indeed deserve their fate.

Hahaha, in the UK I was asked by my manger to take voluntary furlough out of respect for our American colleagues, I laughed in his face. He got the message.

furloughs are a US scam for poorly run businesses to grift poor worker rights to line their own pockets - Europe doesn't generally (bar covid type emergencies) allow such a grift.
HW have tried to force 'volunteers' to take unpaid holiday instead in the past but most just tell them to fro.

Very weird holiday season so far.

Since they announced their alignment portfolio alignment. In my division, there’s been no furlough, layoffs, or reduction in force. (RIF)

This is my 11th year at Honeywell. This never happened before. Whatever, they have planned. They need us around. After they start implementing their portfolio alignment, which starts in 2024. I guarantee heads will roll.

Off with your head. Reminds me of the red Queen from Alice in Wonderland .

By the way, we’ve been having Clearwater head engineer. Supposedly helping us out a lot. They supposedly need their parts. They’ve been documenting everything we do. Helping out with the automation. They hired a whole bunch of technicians and engineers.

In order to get all the automation running. Buying new equipment, get rid of old lockers, they were also told to get all the old equipment running or scrap it. They are also replacing the old equipment with State art equipment. They’re even getting the building into code

They even going to get to cafeteria in order. Currently, we were grandfathered in so they didn’t need to remodel the kitchen. In order to get it in code and pass the health inspection. They’re gonna remodel it so it’s code.

Throughout the building. They’re replacing electric high voltage wires which weren’t in code.

Not if they’re going to sell a building are they responsible for removing asbestos. what’s the federal laws on this. Will Honeywell be allowed to just take it off the sale price or they responsible for cleaning it up before they can sell it.

I can see RLG moving to Clearwater, Florida. we used to send our parts to co-n Rapids and they relocated them. I’m starting to think that they want us all in the same building, cheaper labor and no state taxes. Do businesses in Florida have to pay state taxes or is it just individuals exempt from state taxes.

Also, when is a hurricane you guys get to work. Even when there’s a state emergency. Honeywell will monitor the situation. You’re well-being and safety is our top priority.

Don’t mind the alligators and the pythons floating down the hallway. Your production rooms doors will be kept closed. Don’t worry about power failures. We have back up electric generators.

By the way! You can have a fresh glass of orange juice. We’re not paying for it. It will come out of the vending machine.
