Hmmm ... 'exogenous' reasons for the DTV/TW failures?
If he meant the fact that an outsider (Stink) was suddenly tasked with running two businesses he didn't understand, couldn't manage, and drove off all of the critical talent in the process, then yes, he's correct.
Perhaps that can be his new nickname: Exogenous Stink
Stankey is a liar. He is completely responsible for the lost $150B in at&t assets. He made very miscalculated decisions that resulted in destroying at&t. He even encouraged the failed acquisitions by acting like a ja----s. Inciting rage within Warner, telling them he knew more than anyone about making movies. There just has to be a special place in he-l for an imbecile like Stankey!
John wasn’t wrong.
“ As for our CEO playing the irrepressible rascal “ I made a boo boo when I said old timers should quit or be fired “, he was clearly on the defensive.”
I too found that admission self serving. He attempted to clean it up but then doubled down saying “ generation Z is what we need in order to survive” , clearly not understanding that just because someone is born in this century doesn’t mean they know how to use AI or have an understanding of how to market to other Generation Z people.
Stankey Street
Today’s show is brought to you by the Letter “W” for “We Won”.
Seriously, I thought I was watching Sesame Street.
The way they talked down to us as though we were preschool children.
Don’t get me started on Big Bird McElfresh.
As for our CEO playing the irrepressible rascal “ I made a boo boo when I said old timers should quit or be fired “, he was clearly on the defensive.
He pointed out that our debt was not accumulated through “ bad decisions” but rather “exogenous “ actions beyond his control. He said “exogenous “ twice so that must be the word of the day and one he just learned.
You must be new here. Real questions don’t get asked. Whole thing is staged. If you ask something off script you will be reprimanded severely
Only the softball ones other than Stankey’s non-admission admission about the age remarks from last time. That was a waste of time.
LOTS of questions posted on AT&T insider!
"Yellow" colored kool-aid to be served. Imagine lemon flavor.
