Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Flip the RTO Script

Then it dawned on me. Stankey’s May letter said “WFH keeps up with status quo” but fails to deliver on growth. But, people WFH remotely are far more productive than the “I manage better by walking around bullpen collaborating on personal matters with my staff”. Maybe, we need to train the people who are unsuccessful at being productive (WFH or FTO) and cut them if unable to adapt to the way the modern world works. Value productivity or proximity.

Dummy, it doesn't work like a lightswitch. RTO's negative impact on productivity will likely start showing up Q4 or Q1 '24.

"With the positive quarter results announced this morning, there is no doubt RTO works and WFH ki-ls productivity. Trust the ECONOMICS!"

It’s really funny to read the hype about supposed wfh productivity, but when you review any of the articles it’s always self reported data. Any article with objective data has a different tune which is why rto is proving so fruitful.

As opposed to sitting in a truck/van outside a customer's house or on the side of the road watching TikTok and the clock so you can sandbag the time spent out on a ticket and game the system so you don't get fired for "working too hard."

Go fu-k yourselves and your idea of a costco run. Bi--h, you spend all your time eating Twizzlers in a filthy truck that you have no pride in.

Working from home is just like working from the office. It is what you make of it.

WFH much more productive, doing personal stuff - Costco runs, mowing the lawn, taking kids to soccer. Get back to you later, or never.

The unsuccessful would be the resident troll here. Nobody who is successful would spend that much time on a 3rd party gossip board that doesnt even impact them. The company needs to fire the troll!
