Alright now that we’ve gotten the shock out of the way, it’s time for action. I’m not sticking around until January to either RTO or get laid off.
What companies are remote-first or at least very flexible hybrid? Can we start a list?

Nike is hiring fully remote positions still. The postings now say telecommuting rather than remote
You're the type of worker that Nike wants gone. Bye, Felicia.
Nike is NOT providing world class facilities.
They can’t even provide a desk for everyone.
Drink more coolaid.
Many of these employee comments are beyond cringe-worthy. Employees feeling entitled to work from home. I get it; it’s nice to have the option. That said, Nike is providing world class facilities and like most companies, collaboration, communications and teamwork are critical. If you don’t like showing up for work at your employers office, maybe it’s time to find another company to work for. But remember, nike is your employer; it’s their right to request that you be present. Get real and join the real world. Or don’t, and resign. But stop the whining and feeling of entitlement.

What company? You said this great company is hiring fully remote but you don’t even list the company name.
I left Nike recently and I’m fully remote. The company I now work for embraces it as they attract top talent. Ironically, they want the work environment and experience to be about the employees. That’s how Nike used to be.

Not sure there's much point in compiling a list. Even if you were able to assemble such a list it would rapidly be changing as more and more companies rollback their remote work policies. Nike is not an exception but the norm for how corporations are yanking workers back into the office full time. Every day you can read headlines of employers of all sizes and types reverting back to full-time in office or very limited WFH policies with few exceptions. It's clear workers want a different workplace arrangement but the people in charge who set the policies do not.
Unless there's an industry-wide level of worker organization to protest and strike for better policies you won't see managers and corporate owners voluntarily let their grip on control slip away. The white-collar job sector doesn't have a history of organizing for better rights, benefits or accommodations so I highly doubt we'll see any real change.
The new normal is going to be the old normal for the foreseeable future. Not saying I like it or think it's good...just the reality of the situation. Feel free to find said dream jobs and dream employers that promise fully remote work forever but with mass layoffs going on across industries it's not going to be a viable option for enough Nike employees to put a dent in the decision-making considerations of our overlords.
Fully remote jobs are harder to find. And to the extent companies have 3/2 hybrid work you’ll be changing employers to work one extra day from home. Is that really worth it? Also keep in mind that just because another employer has a hybrid or remote schedule now that doesn’t mean they’ll still have it six months from now. It’s pretty clear that most CEOs are committed to getting people back in the office, with more than 2/3rds saying they want pre-pandemic work arrangements to fully return no later than 2026.
Do what you need to do but remember the grass often isn’t greener on the other side of the fence. Personally I don’t think attrition will be a high as most here do. Complacency and inertia are more powerful forces than most people understand or care to admit.
Amazon is 3/2 - that’s one more day than Nike
Do your own research. This just lazy!
Start your own business... it seems like you like to be in charge.
