Like clockwork they take some unpopular action before ousting the CEO, so the incoming CEO’s hands are “clean”

Have a feeling there will be large US salaried cuts via a reorg that eliminates a swaths of departments in USA. It will be important for this to occur before Kumar takes over, due to the optics of “USA company” that has vastly more employees in India than in USA.

Heard rumblings that BF has been CEO shopping external to Ford but no takers.

@2azo+1peE6Bg3 - Doug Field burned a bridge with BF and the BoD when he pushed to eliminate AM radio.

There are reporters in the auto industry think that the engineering head of Caterpillar might come over. Caterpillar has done incredibly well in the last 5 years.

Internal would be Kumar or Doug, given all the recent actions. Both fit different sets of criteria, tough to say which. Both are a little tough to see as the CEO in front of press... DF probably eeks a win there though, as he's more of a politician than Kumar.

God help us of its an external pick, that's a roll of the dice. Jim Caldwell? Maybe one of the MSU coaches? Does Dave Chappelle have a cousin who went to business school?

Yes, you go ahead and joke about FLV but the fact and truth is he was of the best leaders we had in the new tech sector of Ford. I know that his insights are missed already at the company. The whole incident was an automotive media shock story hit piece with no merit.

A team will be dispatched to the Highland Park Complex (HPC) to retrieve the old tooling for the Ford Pinto. It will be outfitted with a state-of-the-art fire-suppression system and re-released as an affordable fuel-saving car to meet the demands of the future.

With the stock price only $.58 over the 52 week low, and less than half of the January 2022 high, the Ford family portfolios must be suffering, hopefully enough to say they’ve had enough of Farley and his smoke and mirror methods of attempting to be something we are not. Ford is a vehicle manufacturer. We are not a technology, data or subscriptions provider. The sooner the CEO and board acknowledge that fact, the sooner we can attempt to get back to manufacturing quality, affordable vehicles that people want to buy.

An SG5 1st year FCG will volunteer to be CEO for $100k/yr and Bill will let them take a stab at it. They will then proceed to fire every LL5-2 and put in senior engineers in as project management. They will make tech salaries competitive and draw top talent from the west coast to fix the SW (especially turning off touchscreen beeps by default). They will stop sinking $10B into unprofitable electric vehicles nobody wants and focus on more efficient ICE and PHEVs. As the company begins to generate 30%+ EBIT Bill will then fire them and hire another $20M/yr brown-noser that knows nothing about the industry and thinks EVs will replace ICE by 2030.

Carlos Ghosn will be shipped over from Lebanon to be CEO. He will received a full pardon and diplomatic immunity from Japan.

I predict that Bill Ford will immediately become the face of Ford, and he will have Kumar making salary headcount reductions and moving engineering jobs to LCCs. As soon as the strike is settled, Farley will leave to become a full time race car driver and podcaster. A replacement CEO will come from outside, eventually, as there is not one single employee ready to be CEO. Kumar and Doug Ford think they are in the line of succession, as does the CEO of canopy 🤣🤣🤣. Peter Stern has a better chance because he hasn’t done major damage yet, but it is still zero.

Rehiring Hackett as CEO could be brilliant move. Have him sit down with Fain, and after a few of Hackett's riddles (with Fain trying desperately to figure out WTF he's saying), Fain will cry uncle and take whatever offer is on the table just to avoid further talks with Hackett.

I think it's a shame to look outside the Company. That's a way of saying they don't trust the current salaried employees. There are so many talented employees in the Company.

not my post; it required repost here:
Farley has FAILED and by year end he will be TERMINATED. PATHETIC. Within a decade Ford has cycled through 4 CEOs, 3 being miserable incompetent frauds.
Investors and shareholders are finally aware and the stock continues to dive ( it will be under $9 by end of year.
My guess is Kumar or another outsider will be brought in. Temporary fix. Ford's BoD and especially Bill and the rest of the family are either the d-mbest people on the planet or something very shady is planned. They all made more obscene fortunes during the 2008 crash, buying up stock at $1; the Ford family would've lost all their fortunes if the company filed bankruptcy, hence the need to fire sale or takes loans on the company's assets.
Layoffs? The UAW strike has diverted large salaried terminations, but quietly they are happening in small numbers. My entire group have ' quietly quit ' as we circulate or CVs. Farley has LIED. Farley has NO VISION. B Ford LIES. The so-called subscription services and ' Model E ' FAIL.
The idea of collaboration and following process and procedure including cost and timing targets do NOT exist and are blatantly ignored. The Design Studios top the list, silo'd and incapable of delivering. Piakowski, Willing, Leenart, Curic are FAILs and FRAUDS. Look at the programs, all delayed or cancelled and no one is offering solutions, worse, everyone is hiding.
The sooner Farley is TERMINATED and LL2/3/4/5s are held ACCOUNTABLE, maybe the company can turn around, I'm not sure it can happen.
K Robinson, the souless pig also tops the list of DISGRACE. Being the architect of the Boston Consulting list which has terminated older, pensioned and experienced employees that have the ability to course correct Ford's FAILING trajectory. The PIG gets promoted from HR to a Director of Family Vehicles?????? Explain that one, please!!!!!
