little worry of layoffs if at all! Seems to me that those areas of the country are growing their business with new hires occurring all the time. I know why this is happening and it just doesn't seem fair for employees that are IN REGION!

But...can they do that?
Am in an out of Region state… many of us got laid off, many have been told they are safe, and a few here and there are TW. Claims that we may hire in my section but I do not see it happening.
They like out of region. More contractors less union. Way of the future.
Learn how to use HROS to know the states that are in-region. It effects your benefits and is well documented. Of course, trolls don't have access to HROS. "Can they do that"! Too funny!
What states are out of region?
It's certainly not fair, but has anything ever been fair at at&t? I think not! Quit worrying about fairness, just get what you can while the gitten is good. These great times are not gonna last forever!
