Not sure how many were let go

Earlier post sounds like it was written by human relations...."Contrary to rumors, most are not senior""the vast majority of you will have less than five years"... how do you know this? Unless you are in corporate/HR. Understand that's the message you want to send, but it's not believable.
BCS Malabar facility (Melbourne) lost 3 great employees today - ALL on the same program. So sad to see. Wonder if L3Harris will buy another $400M in stock buy backs this year using free cash flow. Rich get richer.
65 total at BCS (SLC, TDL, and Melbourne). Unknown how many at CSW in SLC, but estimated in the 20's. PM's were impacted more than engineering. Those who weren't bringing in enough business were let go. Engineering was hardly touched.
Several senior engineers and others waiting to retire let go today, told over the phone and told to leave the building. About a 10% reduction in staff across the board.
contrary to rumors circulating throughout the company, most of the layoffs are not senior employees. while some long-term employees have been encouraged to retire because of redundancy, the layoffs will continue, and the vast majority of you will have less than 5 years of service. at the end of the day, the company prefers to retain experience during workforce reductions.
I was one of those terminated this morning in SLC...along with two of my direct reports...at least AFAIK. Sad, really. The company we knew and loved working for - L3 Technologies - is long since gone, and the devastating impact of Harris has had its effect on many individuals. Shame.
L3 Harris communications systems in salt Lake City once boasted 3,500 jobs. they promised to add hundreds more over the next 9 years. what has happened since then? An ill advised purchase of a rocket engine company that is losing money. what a bunch of feckless id--ts.
