Verizon stock soars to its best day in almost 15 years
Verizon stock closed up more than 9%, making it the communications company’s best day in almost 15 years.
The company beat its earnings per share and revenue estimates.
The last time Verizon had a day like this, it had not even launched its 4G LTE wireless network in the U.S.
9% Isn’t much, that’s like morning wood and it will come right down.
Hope the Company gets chopped up and sold in little pieces. Firing most of the middle to Director level management would be hilarious to watch as they scurry like roaches.
1 good day does not make a pattern. When will the stock get back into the 50's? then everyone can celebrate. Even with a good bump, the stock is still near all time lows... Great job Hans!
Stock will bottom somewhere in the $26-$28 range and then I'd expect to see $38-$40 by end of next year.

Those results are middle of the road at best. That is definitely shown by the lack of enthusiasm middle management has shown. Normally when the results were good they would be showing stock info down our throats.
I think the last layoff really helped their bottom line as far as lowering costs.
I expect the stock price to stay where it is or go back to pre result levels
Looks like today is the other side of the bounce as stock going down.. VZ all smoke, mirrors and BS. Hans selling BS and false hopes. I guess the Media and Wall Street buy into his spin.
