My team hasn’t been allowed to print for over a year now.
Funny thing is about pink slips - I know 3 co-workers who were “randomly” listed as “zz” one day and it took a few days to get fixed. They were displaced within a few months of the error. Always figured someone hit the trigger early.

Many departments still do. Some managers basically print their inbox and calendar almost daily!
I lost print functionality a few months ago because I never printed anything. Then a month later they wanted me to print a shipping label to return something. I went through the email song and dance to get the receiving company to send me the return label and it took about 2 weeks to show up in the mail.
Talk about efficiency.
