GTO Workolace Excellence

Did anyone else just receive an invite for a 30 minute call with an exec? Any idea what it could mean. I've come into the office since September but it looks like their reporting is a couple of months late.

I’m creb and about to see this too. That’s fine, i’ve been two days but three is fine as well. However, when 5pm hits, off goes the computer and bank phone. No more 10:00pm emails and work load. You want it in the office, then it stays in the office. They should check vpn access and email traffic. I believe they would find that they are getting far more productivity and employee bang for their buck than they think.

What annoys me to no end is the fact that for my department, they stopped renting our office building and moved us to another location. We have an area to sit in office on Monday and Tuesday (Group A), however, our area is assigned to another team on Wednesday and Thursday (Group B). On Friday, we were told it's first come first serve. Everyone is also told that it's mandatory to be there 3 days a week. However, as I described, they don't even have the seats to support it. If you're in Group A and you come on a Group B day or vice versa, you have to go to break rooms or common sitting areas in order to be in office. If you come on Friday, it's just a mess of people trying to find a place. People are literally fighting over seats. It's ridiculous. If you want people in office, lease the appropriate amount of office space. Also, contractors are not in office, and half of many of the teams are offshore. Of my team of 17 people, literally 4 can potentially be in office right now, to get on Webex calls and spend their day. What kind of collaboration is that anyway?

Look for the bank to lower headcount another 5000 or so. Word thru out management is the bank still feels over staffed. The company wants to continue lowering head count and work to get under 210k.

Summary of the meeting

  • 3 days a week (holidays count as wfh)
  • email will be sent to only associates who are not coming 3 days a week. Stats are pulled based on badge swipe
  • employee has an option to choose i comply or i don't comply
  • selecting "i don't comply" will create a case and workspace excellence specialist will work the employee to hear their concerns and take appropriate decision. He didn't mention anything about termination but he did said that action will be taken against employees who don't choise any option before the deadline

@3oyg+1phZ9biv: MyWork or something similar is needed because of employees with medical accommodation reasons for WFH. Management can't make that group disappear with RTO.

Take it from someone who has connections in HR, they have been working on this since last year. Just check in Flagscape when Workplace Excellence was first mentioned. It's from Oct 2022. They will start termination process if you don't comply.

We have signed acknowledgement emails before at the beginning of RTO and every year yet some people have never been in the office
It's going to depend a lot on state laws & leadership

They said we are going to receive an acknowledgement email that we have to sign for Workplace Excellence. It is to cirm we will comply in the office 4 days a week. It has to be signed and sent back.

it’s time to brush up your skills, update your resume, do the bare minimum and target M/M, spend your quality time with your family, utilize all your perks and find a new opportunity only after Feb of next year while this s*hit company go bankrupt. There is better life out there.

On the call right now. Apparently the HR notices that have been sent out are being ignored and Aditya is now broadcasting it? ‘Workplace excellence’ is such bullsh-t. This is just a tactic to lose folks. Aditya was supposed to be the breath of fresh air from Cathy, but he’s a literal carbon copy of her. Inflexibility. This isn’t 1950. We shouldn’t be treated like kids.

There is no point to fight amongst other employees about who did & who didn't go into office
This plan was probably hatched the moment they decided to send us home
We are on the brink of recession, but consumers ngaf has been pushing it back further but it's coming
Now they are fighting fraud, credit card defaults, commercial real estate balloons/loans, employees & clients offloading cash/stock all while the company holding executive packages with both hands.
Believe me you are fighting the wrong fight.
Make the job work for you & your family
Take your sick time, vacation time
Go to your doctor's, dentist
Use every single perk afforded to you
