Can you get a VP title for a B5 internal job that you apply to and you are already a B5 AVP?

Not sure why you’re getting down voted. Yes, you can negotiate your title with a new role you apply for.

Your jobcode and band can change but job title will remain the same. You can negotiate about promotion for next cycle

It has to do with whether they have an actual “position” open that you are applying to. Currently, the bank is in a hiring freeze so it would be rare to have a full time vp position since most requests from managers get cancelled from way above.

The only way the title changes is if you actually apply. Outside of that, you can still move teams and negotiate promo with your new manager

They told me no. That your officer title won’t change bc you move/apply for a new role. If it does, your executive management has to request it.
