Recruiting is VERY difficult now. No fresh grad wants to come to this sh$tshow. The word is out. We have lowered our hiring standards dramatically in the past two years and we are still getting turned down.

OP, the new college grads that are good and graduate from good schools don't even look at ExxonMobil as a possible employer no matter how much PR HR does. They know this is a shitshow. They also know they're being hired for a couple of years so they can be fired for no fault of their own to protect a chosen manager during the annual evaluations. ExxonMobil can do anything it wants but the genie's out of the bottle. Young people already know the huge damage Darren's done to this corporation. ExxonMobil can only attract graduates from second tier community colleges in Louisiana and Mississippi. That's it.
