Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Stock price

AT&T stock enjoyed a bump for exactly one week after the 3rd quarter results.

In 10 years the stock has lost 45.5% of its value.

When will leadership be cut due to poor performance?

Also, could leadership stop acting like we need to follow their lead or vision….. YOU ARE BLIND. Obviously!

The “Shorts” bought before 3Q earnings and then sold. Pocketed the short buy frenzy and got out. The question for you is “What are going to do?” Will you buy the stock betting it will go up long-term or sell all shares you have, if any? Tell us what action syou’ll be taking since complaining without action is easy but ineffective.

If our CEO's raise isn't tied to performance, how probable is it for him to consider LEAVING if he DOESN'T receive it? It's highly unlikely, as he understands that his raise is guaranteed, irrespective of his performance, which is a rarity in TOP companies.

All that yuk, yuk, yuk on the town hall about "it's up a dollar" along with making a big joke out of the age discrimination comments. Will they edit or disappear that one too?

Do you even own stock? People who complain about stock price usually don't even understand the stock market. They just like to complain.

Stank has a guaranteed golden parachute, but if I don’t complete the same compliance training I’ve done every year for the last 10yrs in a row, my pay will be affected! That’s T leadership for you!

J. Stankey says "The rules are for thee, not for me".

Because they can, consequences aren't on the table for those in a complicit relationship, ie. BOD, Large shareholder funds and C-suite. It’s why there needs to be better regulations for public traded companies, the majority of employees and communities are the ones who are paying the ultimate price.

The elite profit despite results, time to contact your representatives to stop the madness and have the SEC to do investigations. It should be criminal what is happening in a lot of corporations these days. When is it enough, Enron, WorldComm, Lehman Bros., etc…

Definitely bad leadership. Why CEO pay is not related to the stock performance? Why is he getting raises while T stock continues to underperform for years in a row.

Stinky is unconcerned because his golden parachute is being prepared as we speak. He's in talks with the feds about a contingency plan should the company go belly up!
