Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Funny how Ford settled right before they had to release financials!

So obvious. They knew missing their numbers and the strike still going that shareholders would bolt.

What the Ford family never got was that investors are smarter than they are! And they see right through the family's cr-p.

I'm rooting for junk status! Just like our products.

“Do you know why Apple, Google, etc are so successful? “
I do. It’s because the great employees continue to work there, while the mediocre ones go to other jobs, like those at Ford.

I remember when the F family turned on Mark Fields. Fields was allegedly moving to slow on electrification. All the while he was saying profits would be very difficult. So what does F do?

They go out and hire Bozo Jim since he spent 6 months in Silicon Valley after running a picnic table company.

Way to bring it home BFJ.

Google and Apple are successful because they have quality products that people want. Their leadership would have to be mo--ns to sc--w that up.

Oh wait. Everyone wanted Mach-es and Lightnings and the leaders you hold in such high esteem screwed it up! @fsd+1piuncqn, ake your head out of your re---m.

Nobody in leadership is going anywhere. If anything, we will continue to add the best outside tech talent to our executive ranks to improve even further. Do you know why Apple, Google, etc are so successful? It's having the best leaders. Bill Ford has said we have the best team in the history of the company now, and it will improve with added talent.

Dividend declared on October 16, $0.15 a share

Ex Dividend date October 31

Oldest play in the book…the big guys are intentionally spooking the market against F to turn around and buy up shares on sale next week…and then cash in on dividends on December 1st! Retail investors and employees get burned again

It is even funnier how Fain settled without getting the 30% salary increase, nor the 32 hours. There is not much difference between the contract offered by Ford now, and the one offered a few days before. I am guessing the Ford negotiators sat down with the UAW leadership, and showed them the real financials of FMC. Fain realized it was time to accept the offer, and distanciate himself and the UAW from the soon to come Ford bankruptcy.

Shareholders did bolt. Almost triple average daily volume, and down below $9.99.
Farley should be packing his office.
