So a displaced employee I let go in August with the 60 day period, was on the payroll after Sept. 30 so is bonus eligible, not prorated. If I quit this week do I get a bonus? I tried calling HR this week to ask, don't ask how awful that run around was. I don't want to ask around since I don't want others to know I am definitely leaving, hopefully sooner rather than later.

So if an employee has a death during the year, they may still be eligible for a bonus?
Bone Us is available to all. WFB has planned in advance to Bone Us all employees this performance cycle.
That's actually a great idea. Wait, does he know that he'll have to pay every year for his garbage performance?
Yeah, if you retire before the bonus payout you lose. Must be on the rolls. I am giving notice the Monday after, as I have had enough. Job or no job.
Charlie is planning to change the WF bonus policy. If you underperform, you will be penalized with a negative bonus. In other words, you will have to pay.
Even if retiring, I have heard bonus is not guaranteed. I would love to retire at the end of the year, but if there is any chance I won’t get my bonus I will hang in there for another five weeks.
Er is now in the Philippines And they care even less than when they were in the US. Not to mention they know absolutely nothing about er.
There are only 3 instances/exceptions in which you can receive bonus without being employed as of payment date:
- Death during the year
- Retirement
- Displaced with non-working period through September
Search for the Wells Fargo Discretionary Bonus plan on teamworks. It will list them in there and state that otherwise you must be employed as of payment date to qualify.
No, if you quit prior to the bonus being paid you will not receive one.
I would move on and not expect your old manager to give you anything. The LOB would need to approve it.
Your statement is confusing. Here are the rules:
If you were displaced in august, but still under 60/90 day notice on September 30th, you are eligible for your bonus.
If you are currently employed and you give your notice prior to February payout of bonus, you will not get your bonus.
if you leave before bonus is paid, you gat nothing.
it should be part of your new employer negotiations.
Last few years Exceeds, carrying multiple teams, will mail it in until Feb then walk with my 6 figures and you can spin in circles for 5 years trying to pull down just my bonus. Maybe I will volunteer for displacement and get another year. Good to not be a lazy loser with a skill set so I have options.
Lol. Quits but wants a bonus. I wish I could be this delusional.

No bonus for you. You need to be employed here the day they are paid, unless you were displaced.
