I just don't get it, he has nothing to boast about, proven failure at business many times over. Bald, abusive, dictator, blames everyone else for his failures. What is it that makes him feel more important and better than everyone else? He needs to get his up and cometh.

Has Stankey finally lost the admiration and respect of at&t employees?
For those of you quoting psychiatry and character disorders, it could be worse. You could be married to the man and spend most of your time on your knees, begging for his respect, attention, compassion or kindness. Just sayin’.
Shari enjoys driving around in her European made SUV when she can leave the walled garden in North Dallas.
Why is Stankey so arrogant?
He makes millions a year and will get a golden parachute when he leaves.
In other words: He has F you money.
I have to wait until I get home before I unleash the vitriol on Stankey. He could crush me.

Stankey is a big, powerful man but he does not sound very nice.
Are you serious?
Someone here thinks we need to prove Stankey is an arrogant S-B? Unbelievable!
Just attend a town hall or listen to a replay, 'nuff said!
When I think of Stankey, the word CLUELESS comes to mind.
Stankey is a dinosaur. Get ride of his dead a$$. The stock price will jump 20% virtually overnight if the board replaced him with a qualified CEO with a track record of success.
He buys JD Powers awards with the shareholders money to pat himself on the back. He rewards his followers with salary increases and bonuses so they will say how great a job he is doing. All the meanwhile T crumbles under his incompetence.
If Stankey found out who you are, he would have you on your knees, begging.
No. Not anymore sport. John Stankey has proven himself to be a failure. One does not take a Blue Chip stock and indebt AT&T to levels not seen previous in American Capitalism.
Nobody is scared of JTS. He does have a sizable gate and concrete fence around his place there in North Dallas. Now tell me? Who is scared of who?
He has $millions of reasons to be arrogant, you are just a data point.
"And everybody knew, ya didn't give no lip to Big John!"
Hurry up get to the part where the mine collapses.😆
If Stankey found out who you are, he would have you on your knees, begging.
"John is turning the company around. Financials are going to be solid in 2 years time."
Yeah right, just like Armstrong, uh Dorman, uh McCanuel (did you forget him at the end there?) were going turn around the old T.
Have seen this movie before.
Write an open letter to the AT&T board of directors about Stankey's failures as CEO. Focus on the stock performance and lack of innovation. If it gets enough attention, they might remove him.

I was told by a tech Stankey screamed at his partner when they installed fiber at his house. The tech partner cut himself and started bleeding on his carpet. Stanley was a complete jerk and got the tech fired for bleeding on his carpet.
Stank is so arrogant he still Carrie’s a comb😀
Give examples of his arrogance. I'm waiting...
Nobody is safe. Town Hall.
I know more about the television business than anyone else. Complete failure.
T Stock. I think we are undervalued by investors. Another Complete failure.
No John isn't arrogant, he is incompetent and he is riding the wave of decades of a profitable company over the rocks, only to be taken out back to sea over the same rocks.
The dark triad is a psychological theory of personality, first published by Delroy L. Paulhus and Kevin M. Williams in 2002,[1] that describes three notably offensive, but non-pathological personality types: Machiavellianism, sub-clinical narcissism, and sub-clinical psychopathy.[2][3][4][5] Each of these personality types is called dark because each is considered to contain malevolent qualities.[2][6][7][8]
Illustration of the triad
All three dark triad traits are conceptually distinct although empirical evidence shows them to be overlapping. They are associated with a callous–manipulative interpersonal style.[9]
Narcissism is characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy.[10]
Machiavellianism is characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, indifference to morality, lack of empathy, and a strategic focus on self-interest.[11]
Psychopathy is characterized by continuous antisocial behavior, impulsivity, selfishness, callous and unemotional traits (CU),[12] and remorselessness.[13]
High scores in these traits have been found to statistically increase a person's likelihood to commit crimes, cause social distress, and create severe problems for organizations, especially if they are in leadership positions.[14] They also tend to be less compassionate, agreeable, empathetic, and satisfied with their lives, and less likely to believe they and others are good.[15]

Don’t talk bad about big John.
No one gave a single example. Guess everyone is just projecting.
Stankey for president!
YAY!
Dear John, I don't like you today.
Can he do that?
John is turning the company around. Financials are going to be solid in 2 years time.
Ev'ry mornin' at the mine you could see him arrive
He stood six foot six and weighed 245
Kinda broad at the shoulder and narrow at the hip
And everybody knew, ya didn't give no lip to Big John!
He knows the BOD is weak and won't take action. We need an activist group to buy a large share and shake things up
It is not what he does; it is who he is.
"What are the signs of sociopathy?
There’s no standard list of sociopath signs, but the signs and symptoms of ASPD include a persistent pattern of disregard for others. For example:
ignoring social norms and laws, or breaking rules at school or work, overstepping social boundaries, stealing, stalking and harassing others, and destroying property
dishonesty and deceit, including using false identities and manipulating others for personal gain
difficulty controlling impulses and planning for the future, or acting without considering the consequences
aggressive or aggravated behavior, including frequent fights or physical conflict with others
disregard for personal safety, or the safety of others
difficulty managing responsibilities, including showing up at work, handling tasks, or paying rent and bills
little to no guilt or remorse, or a tendency to justify actions that negatively affect others
People with ASPD generally show little emotion or interest in the lives of others. They might:
come across as arrogant or superior, with firmly fixed opinions
use humor, intelligence, and charisma to manipulate
seem charming at first, until their self-interest becomes clear
People with ASPD generally find it challenging to maintain friendships, relationships, and other mutually fulfilling connections. This difficulty may stem from traits, like:
low empathy and emotional intelligence
difficulty learning from mistakes
lack of concern for the safety of others
a tendency to intimidate and threaten in order to maintain control"
Because he can be.
