Just curious I have seen several post that have been removed from here? Who monitors and removes these? Just curious how I see some way of topics stick and others that are removed.

@thelayoff.com how can I get in contact with someone about a deleted post with possible compromised or threatening info?
I suspect that the monitoring for this has been off-shored and any criticisms of work being sent overseas is deleted.
Rich Baich is the board mod
Go to the Wayback Machine and manually archive this directory after posting. Sometimes a Mod will delete a post in error. Grab the backup and repost if you feel your post was in compliance with existing rules for usage.
Layoff admins = GOD
BOO...CENSORSHIP ROTS! LEAVE MY POSTS ALONE, AFTER ALL, YOU DONT OWN THEM!
It’s cuz your posts stink.
Posts get deleted. ALL THE TIME.
Responses here saying its for offensive or inappropriate content are full of BS because you can still find posts with that.
Some moderator does decide and deletes.
Many of mine are probably deleted because I'm behind a VPN. That means they are tracking all of you people IP addresses.
Like the post about UAW being deleted
CWA seems to follow what UAW does

What may be offensive to you may not be offensive to me and others! Let free speech live, stamp out censorship. Let freedom ring!
Not infringing on your freedom of speech. When your comments are inappropriate or offensive, there is no place for that.
The actual (TLDR) content rules can be found in the page footer, this is the abridged version of things that aren't allowed:
- foul language and insults
- personal info of employees or mgrs (c-level's ok as they are public figures)
- threats
- trolling
- spamming (or tons of posts with the similar text)
- impersonating
- off-topic posts about politics, religion or race/nationality/ethnicity
- direct advertising
- illegal
There are hundreds of active forums here, and rules above are the same for all of them. It's pretty obvious that T doesn't have any influence over this site, if they had there would be zero threads left, cause I don't see a single post here that sings praises to T.
They might be reading /reporting some posts or writing to page to take something down, but unless they have some legal ground for it, nothing will happen.
So, if you follow the site rules and US libel laws and the post will stick.
@sco+1pm8PdpY here...
Typo alert. We are entitled to the government NOT limiting most speech.
I wish there was an edit function, at least for a few moments after posting.
"We are entitled to free speech. "
Websites are private property. You are entitled to the government limiting your speech, that's it.

Not fair! We are entitled to free speech. Talk about censorship. This is no longer a free country!
Yes they can!
It’s heavily censored.
not a conspiracy, they remove posts that are way off topic or break the rules. Some have names in them, others have comments that go beyond common decency.
Can they do that?
This site is monitored heavily by a team within AT&T, they will request the site owner to delete posts if they feel they're inappropriate or offensive. Along with the obvious moderator outlined within the layoffs site rules.
So stick with topics related to actual layoffs instead of the virtual gossip board. You got yammer for that. Oh don’t want to be monitored by the VP’s… connect another way for you day to day grip. This is a telecom company after all
Also the moderator does not work for AT&T if it wasn’t obvious that the site is called the layoff and hundreds of other company employees are going thru similar storms.
The moderator removed it. The moderator is silent, so you won't a get an explanation. The content rules are here: https://www.thelayoff.com/rules.php
