ADEA Listing for November 6th surplussed employees

For those that received a surplus letter for a November 6th date? Did your ADEA listing only list those individuals impacted who were under your AVP? I am only seeing 6 and since i was on a call with roughly 150+ and I am hearing another call of 150+ that would have had the same date I would have expected that our ADEA listing would have contained all of those individuals in the ADEA listing? I personally feel that all of the Wave 1 folks that will be surplussed should be on one ADEA listing but legally am not sure that is mandated but can ask my employment attorney.

It's almost like at&t wants to make sure they wreck all employees holidays. The ones that are directly impacted with layoff, and the others trembling in the corner, fearing a layoff.

How many Boomers was Stankey able to sign off his Christmas list this year? I’m sure he has a lump of coal for each to honor their service for the company.

Sorry Tiny Tim, no goose for you this Christmas. We will sign up for SNAP in the morning.

Yeah how dare they lay people off near Halloween. And Veterans Day is right around the corner too.

Happens every year, the Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays layoff, right when upper management gets their nice bonuses. Is that you Ebenezer?

well they have got make room for the young generation like Stink said. Out with the old (Literally) and in with the new who they won't have to pay pensions and less salary. This is a joke of a company and stock price is terrible, they are running it into the ground. Oh and let's not forget the GM's that will get their cash bonus for these layoffs and for helping trim the old workforce! sickening

AT&T has lost their moral compass. Who ever heard of ruining everyone's holidays? What about the innocent children that had no fault? GET REAL!

Yep, 3 in my group and on the form. It’s specific to VP I believe.

typically the reports are done at the decisional unit level. So if the people on the call were of different decisional units for the surplus (which may or may not be at the AVP level), then they wouldn't be on the same report.

"Sorry, what is ADEA?"

Age Discrimination in Employment Act.

It's a list of the ages of those who got zapped.

They like to keep employees in the dark, treating them like mushrooms. It's the only way they can prevent a major uprising.
