InfoSys is not HCL. Google HCL Xerox or HCL State Farm. Rebadged also and gone right after severance window expires.

@3czz+1pnFtOIO yes you can. However, it's interesting to note that the InfoSys rebadge were worried about the same thing. I have not seen one person who went there that was a) Redeployed to another contract, or b) let go. After 5 years, they are still sitting and working in Vz offices. If you are concerned, use the time to look for another job.

Can someone please confirm, if moved to HCL, you can be let go by HCL after 2 years with no severance package? Is this another way for VZ to get people off the books without having to pay for them to leave? It’s so unsettling, up until now, even when RIFS were a threat, at least there was the severance package to lighten the burden

Not sure why @kse is being down voted. That's exactly what's happening.

Everyone will hear more about "year 2" in about 6 months, and you should expect to hear the term "redeployment" consistently from that point until the first year is over. HCL will move most rebadges to a different engagement, and those who stay with Verizon will most likely end up on different teams as HCL plugs knowledge gaps.

Looking at the new org today, it appears that people up to the VP level were “acquired”:

This includes VPs Shelly Ashwill-Powers and Kathy Adamick, and directors JD and Randy Cade. The good old boy’s club is all together again, just like AT&T.

Verizon and HCL Tech already sent out a press release that this is $2B contract for 6 years. Just Google it as it is public information. That means 10K-15K employees are going to be shifted to HCL Tech. It has already started with VBG Implementation groups. So the question is, which groups are next, and when? Is Kyle going to dismantle the VBG group?

The VZ RIF is on 11/22 (day before Thanksgiving). Off payroll by end of year. 10% cut across the board in all departments and all segments.

Also 6000 people moved from VBG to HCL as of this morning. Same pay and benefits for 1 year and then being replaced by foreigners.

A lot of folks in VBG Provisioning, Implementation, and Support are going over to HCL Tech as part of a $2B 6 year deal. Apparently the goal is to use AI and cheap labor in India and the Philippines to replace expensive US labor. And wait until Nov 9th, to get the surprise announcement for the rest of the teams. That is why all accomplishments are due in the system by then....
