GT leadership is clueless. They approve FTE roles and then change their minds because they overhired. Are those leaders going to be held accountable?
We should offshore HR. Let them try to work entirely through email & 11pm calls.
They should just burn the money, we’d waste less time and get more done. Offshoring tech so far that they’re beyond direct communication, and any oversight, has been the d-mbest decision HR approved.
It’s like they thought “tech leadership is inflating teams” then decided the solution was to double down on a culture that puts quantity of butts-in-seats over all else.

In GAP, we are in freeze for long time. Only hiring either in India or Poland. No hiring in US.
Lol where have you been? GT has been in a hiring freeze for a year (with the exception of filling “critical” roles). This is not news and there will be no official announcement.
Rather selective freeze and hiring. Each VP will roll out their best marketing decks. You’ll see a
lot of consultants in meetings with VPs.
We have been in hiring freeze for over 1 year....so nothing new here.
