No matter how much info you put in you’ll get performing unless your bosses bosses boss knows something you did and it was important to them then maybe you get a leading.
it is for your year end performance ranking. They will rank you off what you put and if it has little info, somehow you will still be performing along with 90% of Verizon.
My guess is that the earlier deadline has something to do with the bonuses given to the folks who just got RIFed. But that's only a guess.

They like to reserve December for Christmas parties. Layoffs in December would destroy the whole Christmas spirit!
1bcb simply based on the name of this site “the layoff” , if we are assuming shouldn’t you assume that everyone posting on this site is management since union members are fortunate enough to have a no layoff clause in their contract?
This doesn’t seem any earlier than years past. With the holidays coming up is Los Estados Unidos and the bureaucracy that is VZ, timing is normal. Good luck with McD’s

This persons rhetoric is that they post nearly daily on this forum to make fun of Verizon employees, so they’re entirely focused on making people look bad. I would assume this person is in management, possibly upper management and it shows that this person is not only unfit for leadership but they actively sabotage and undermine the people they’re supposed to be supervising, because they believe them to be overpaid and jokingly hint they are worried they’ll have to work at McDonald’s. This person should contact a therapist and stop posting everyday.
