The problem with Ford is the people at the top and the board of directors making stupid and greedy decisions. Neither salaried or hourly people will have jobs if these mo--ns are left in place. It's rotten from the top...

  1. 5% ... really? A whole 3.5%? I'd think any salaried employee that only gets a 3.5% raise, sometime next year, after the company gave the UAW what it did would be insulted. But as the UAW continuously pointed out throughout the strike, all of the automakers problems are the result of the salaried workforce, and therefore salaried workers shouldn't be compensated as well as the UAW workers.

At Ford salaried will get more layoffs. Yay us!

It's funny because it's true

It's also sad for the same reason

In our department meeting, our manager indicated raises capped at 1% this year.
We will not mention the dismal profit sharing outlook.

  1. 5% raises. additional 2% 401k matching.

Compared to what UAW workers got. Yeah. I'm now pro union.

At Ford salaried will get more layoffs. Yay us!
