What's a bonus?
Merit was not moved to January. It moved to March
Merit was moved up from April to January
How does this benefit BNYM, you might ask? I think they are banking on more people leaving, but won't until do so they get their bonus. So might as well pay it earlier so they can get off the payroll earlier. No one will complain about getting their bonus earlier, but if it sounds good, ask yourself what is BNYM's motive.
Comp day is week of Jan 15th
not true. i came into BNY as an I grade 6 years ago and have gotten bonuses even then.
You must be a VP because I've never been bonus eligible. Just another "positive" thing about our "culture".
