Not a rumor. Managers got an email titled “Five Minute Manager: U.S Annual Enrollment and Key Benefits Changes”
Under additionally it stats: Health Savings Account (HSA) company contributions will be discontinued, effective Jan 1, 2024
Email time is 11/13/23 at 3:39 PM EST
Also in the email it stats Accrued, unused vacation time will no longer be paid out upon termination, effective Jan 1, 2024z
What was a false rumor?
So please Tell us how health insurance really works at our firm…
So it was a false rumor. Very sick prankster
Yeah its only for the base HSA. The lower deductible HSA and the full scale health plan aren't free but didn't look to see if they reduced the employee contribution
I could be wrong but I think this was only for either 1 or 2 out of the 3 options, not all 3
It's true. But also eliminating employee out of pocket per paycheck premium for anyone under 75k. Still have to pay for kids/spouse
Managers got a sneak peek email friday.
At least we no longer have to go on a scavenger hunt to determine what hoops we had to jump through to get our contributions.
Wow it’s coming fast and furious… every man and woman for themselves…
That’s devilish.
If you guys really knew how health insurance works at our firm, you would be even madder!
The three pillars are built on top of the previous pillar of fu--ing their employees every chance they get. I won't be surprised if we find that the 401k contribution we finally get is less than last year. RV is continuing the legacy of not having new ideas to grow the business, so let's continue to squeeze the employees. Let's run the company better. Lol. How original.
This “MPEE” concept is new too, right? Previously the premiums were based solely on your salary, but the new language indicates they’ll be based on your prior years W2 total earnings, which means that your bonus (if applicable) is also considered when determining which bracket you fall into.
You gotta hand it to them - right when you think there’s no more blood they can squeeze from the stone, they somehow find a way to s***w everyone just a little bit harder.
Unbelievable.
Worst healthcare plans in banking. I used to get a ribbing from coworkers every benefits season. It went “How bad is it being the only guy on the team that isn’t on his wife’s medical?” Etc.
Eventually my wife started job hopping for medical and her benefits were and are just ki-ler health plans. At BONY I was out of pocket $20,000 per year for 5 straight years after Obamacare on until her job hopping started.
The plain and simple truth is that all of you who still work at the bank have no power because all remaining employees are lifers. Think about it… read the complaints and realize how bad it is (for me, “was,”) , self examine deeply and get down to the issues that keep you here. Whether it be low self worth, lousy skill set, fear of change or complacency, you can knock down your mental barriers and get the job that you’ve always wanted.
I’ve posted this so many times for years here and all that I ask is to pick yourself up off of the floor, yell “No Master” organize a job search and network with everybody you know.
I know of NO ONE EVER that wound up worse off after leaving the Bank.
Those are pretty good odds, and if you do wind up worse… jump again.
There goes that $200.
Here’s the plans https://cache.hacontent.com/ybr/R516/02789_ybr_ybrfndt/downloads/2024BnftGuide.pdf
We should’ve seen this one coming. They have reduced the company contribution What seems like every year since they went to this cr-ppy HSA healthcare option a number of years ago….. dump
This is true, I’m in HR and we received info on what’s changing this week
It’s in writing, to the id--t telling people to stop making things up.
How do you know benefits haven’t even rolled out yet ?
Let's see who's making things up come next week. Shutup
