Basically, it's leadership's bounty on the livelihoods of the heads they cut.
They dug AT&T into a very deep financial hole and they need the hits to keep on comin' so they can bail themselves out.
Or maybe I'm being a bit negative.

Yearly bonus (team awards) for management employees (including Directors) is paid out in March. The company changed the criteria several years ago that make it harder to qualify if company goals are not met for that particular calendar year. The Board of Directors typically meet at the end of January and that is when managers find out if a bonus will be paid out and if so, what percentage. Managers won't know until Jan24 if they get a bonus for 2023.
I don’t know what’s going on. You’re saying my director is getting a big a$$ bonus while I’m getting surplussed? And that he is getting the bonus because of the very fact that I’m getting let go because I won’t move to Dallas? If this is true, it sounds like I need to redirect all questions to my director instead of actually working.
Just got notified that our yearly bonus is $160.00 this year, which is about the same as every year because the stock goes down every year. Luckily I make 30-40K in OT every year to make up for it.
