AT&T spends way too much money allowing cr-ppy employees to stay. Layoff everyone who plays the system or doesn’t pull their weight first.

You know who you are! The employee who ALWAYS has a disability claim each year. The ones who abuse FMLA, bereavement and sick days. They are easily identified and we all know who they are. You could do a lot for morale just by taking the trash out.

Lay off the one third to perhaps half of every group which have employees who don’t work. I suspect management keeps them since headcount is what protects them. We have one whose job was to pull a name out randomly every month for a parking space. Yep that it. She also plays the victim and occasionally goes out on benefits due to stress. I guess since we moved to another building and the last task stressed her out, she now twice a month forwards an email. Yep that it.

Fire all the people that view sick days as extra vacation and brag about using them as such. If you do this you have ZERO integrity and ZERO character. It seems to be a certain age group that constantly does this.
