... if you want to stagnate and ki-l your own career. Since starting working here, I've actually regressed skills wise; no one follows best practices, software is just built and pushed without any code reviews.

LL6's are clowns pretending to have any technical leaderhship; just glorified paper pushers and BS'ers from India who cheated on their interviews to get in.

@4yyu what you have described is Ford think. Not being honest about the caliber of the staff and seeking to improve it, because you can’t trust your leadership.

The whole Ford culture is sick. People are not honest about employees, processes, products, issues, flaws, etc. you name it the leadership chain is lying about it and has trained their underlings to lie about it.

Ford employees withhold information about from their bosses because they know that sounding an alarm will get them tagged as troublemakers, and possibly disciplined, if not fired. I’ve had a manager yell at me for sending him an email containing factual documentation about issues and proposed solutions “Dxm it all to hxll, never send me another email like than, schedule a 1x1 meeting with me and let me decide if I want to know about the issues”

The ford leadership team with their masterful corporate Houdini skills escape culpability time after time. “Oh I didn’t know - it was a rogue bad actor engineer / accountant / programmer.”

Sorry buddy, many ll6s are useless beyond belief. And in my area, most of them are. In fact in my dept of 8 ll6s, only 1, just 1 is competent technically and has people skills. One. They others are either b s artists, dei candidates, or friends and family plan....all of which have zero business in being a supervisor of a group of what should be technical engineers. Yes many of the engineers are lazy and useless too. You can easily pin the millions of recall and warranty costs on the problem with quality ll6s here.

Ford HR is a big reason for this, they vote for these unqualified candidates in the interview process. They should be ashamed at what they have contributed to the downfall of this company.

Listen here a-hole, I was an LL6 that was an expert in my commodity. My Manager forced me into a different role and they moved that responsibility to Mexico, dismantled my team and terminated me. There are more “clowns” at the GSR level than you can imagine with their LL6 trying to protect them because, in any normal day at Ford, there’s a hiring freeze and you can’t hire anyone better to replace them.
I was quickly hired by a supplier working as a senior tech expert and love it. Make more money, get more respect, and I don’t have to deal with people like you and the Ford BS anymore.

They are smooth operators. BS'g and cheating, when possible. They don't have as many across town. Especially, not in positions of power.

Management has been fooled that a lot of these people know their stuff simply because they are on an H1B...or it's just part of their culture...I can tell you that this is simply not the case. There are a lot...I mean a lot...that exist and fill the position solely to avoid work. It's more prevalent than you think.
