TKs weekly updates vs SVBs

SVB wrote a novel each week and gave good insight into what he was actually doing, like meeting with the board, with OC, other partners, important risk committee things, etc. Looking back, was actually nice. Now we get nothing from TK. What does she do all week? Except travel and make her Tik tox of course. Her updates are kinda pathetic, you can tell she’s reaching for content which ends up being all surface level. Like really last week, talking about being with loved ones this time of year. It’s not even thanksgiving yet. Weird. Just another reminder she’s in over her head, not a strong leader, can’t command an audience live or via a blog.

Saul's blogs are written by his comms person - not him. That's standard practice at that level. He reviews/approves.

He's doing the same in CSBB now. it's pretty much reading his calendar back to the audience, sanitized for broad distribution.

Word Salad:

A string of empty, incoherent, disorganized, unintelligible, or nonsensical words or speeches.

Saul's weekly rants were like a long bout of verbal diarrhea. Then stops, only to happen again and again. But the stench stays in the room forever. So, so glad that I'm out, never to return.

Her updates are very Barbie-like. This is where I went .... and I cheer leaded here.
In the meantime our "agile" tech teams can't keep our customer core functions operational. Failure after failure.
Maybe using US citizens and WF employees with business/technical knowledge would be a good place to start!

I mean it was changed from My Week to Our Week. I’d thought she highlight what we did that week. Too much to ask for

Hey team! Remember to spend time with loved ones and get your annual benefit enrollment done.
Love, TK

I agree with this! I’m not sure why she bothers to slap that non update on Teamworks each week.

You can tell she dreads slopping these together weekly. Basically turned into a corporate reminder blog where she lists the 5+ things corporate wide going on or town hall reminders zzzzzzzz.

Tech is funny, complained about SVB's coffee sipping, praised when TK took over and now wishing SVB was still running tech.

I like how she rebranded it to our week (lol, feel so close) and proceeds to downgrade the content. Should just stop writing it, clearly she’s struggling to fill space on the page with meaningless words.

Hey All TK’s Lemons are back. Sort sums up her leadership , it’s a lemon!!!! She has got to be the biggest joke of a CIO or any type of leader. American Banker needs to explain to people how the heck she made the list when she has done nothing but placed her lips on SVB’s backside.

I think she should just stop writing the weekly update. They are not a good look. First she made her directs write it for her, I mean “guest posts” and now she’s using multiple words when one will do to fill space (It’s a really really really great time of year). Saul’s were actually informative and spoke to us like we were professional colleagues.

People from Bank of American are scratching their heads wondering how she landed such a high level role.

But then they were reminded that this is Wells Fargo, the industry garbage collector of talent.
