I’ll just get back to my desk every Hour or so and move my mouse so it looks like I’m working or at least not asleep. Then walk hit the cafe and do some retirement planning with my phone

If you get laid off before Veterans Day you would have to repay the floating holiday. Use floating holiday after the holiday passes.

ALL banks use a floating holiday when it’s falls on Saturday. Been that way for a very long time.

You can take Veteran’s Day off as a holiday - the company gave you a floating holiday to use for it. Not sure the outrage here.

It's a working holiday. You can use your "floating holiday" designation if you intend to take the day off.

Veterans Day should automatically be an employee holiday designated for Friday November 10tg since the 11th is on Saturday and not require employee to use a floating holiday. I guess that shows WF disrespects veterans

@ffg - it was a d-mb post. Oh btw. It’s asterisk, not astrict.

one of the d-mbest questions I a while. just search teamworks for paid holidays and the first result will be the 2023/34 holidays calendar. Any holiday landing on a Saturday, which veterans does this year, will have an astrict on it which means it's a floating holiday which you can use whenever. If you haven't used it already then take Friday off. if a holiday land on Sunday then the bank gives you Monday off. Like the two personal holidays we get, I use the floating holidays first thing each year, because of you get laid off or quit you won't get them paid out unlike accrued PTO.

You do realize this is a layoff site right? Stop posting your d-mb questions that you are too lazy to look up

Look on Teamworks. It’s a work day. We get a floating holiday for it.
