Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

People outside WF, don't hire former Managers from WF.

You see here they are willing to do anything to protect their position, not support the business.

I think KF is next inline. She is in charge DEI and has been doing a good job of trying and to promote diversity. She seems bright and brings a lot of enthusiasm.

Stop the Charlie banter from Christ sake. One of his female directs will soon take over, regardless of their level of competence.

Charlie and his cronies protect each other so they are safe. They hate all other peasant employees and look down on them. We live in a feudal hierarchical society controlled by kings and queens. I do not support the idea of unions, but I can see why many people want to form a union.

So, not one manager? Only the individual contributors? A little discriminate don't you think?

Such gaslighting! WF executives have created the current toxic culture and the need for employees to “fight” to keep their job from day to day. Everyone is now one decision away from their job being sent to India. Loyal employees DID have the best interests of the bank at heart. The only thing that got them was a displacement target on their back! Execs have and continue to override: common sense, tangible suggestions from employees to remedy and prevent enterprise issues and refusal to invest in meaningful technology for long term fixes instead of offshoring.

Protecting works both ways. If employees are valued and their jobs are protected from India, they will return protecting the bank in kind.

Wells Fargo has had a toxic culture of promoting manipulative, dishonest, and racist managers. I think things have been improving but there are still plenty of these dirtbags around. Which is why we haven’t been as successful making strides in addressing MRAs.

In Charlotte, there are two big banks literally standing next to each other within a walking distance. One is Bank of America global headquarters, the other one is Wells Fargo regional headquarters. Thousands of employees keep switching their jobs between those two banks every few years so that they can move up to a higher ranking job. Truist is now making a big presence as a third wheel in Charlotte. The ex-BOA and ex-WF managers are moving to Truist to get a higher raking job and vice versa. Chances are, you will always see the same managers and executives among these big banks. Those managers already know each other and they keep building a toxic network among the big banks in Charlotte. Can we stop them? I think not.

I disagree as there are those of us who left when we saw the abuses to employees and managers alike.

because you won't do what you need to in order to protect yours? baring anything illegal or unethical, if your job/pay/performance is on the line you're telling me you won't do what you're told? RTO as an example, plenty of managers hate it but will toe the line because their year end performance is on the line. Same for forced rankings, they may not like it and they may fight it as much as they can but end of day they can only do so much. if you're willing to fall on your sword then have at it. I do what I can within reason and try not to let the BS get to me
