Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Survey, survey, and more surveys... Meaningless surveys, one after another

There is this survey today, then another survey on the next day, and another survey next week.

Cisco is such an unethical, toxic, political, outdated company with full of incompetent, clueless, just long-tenured managers and directors who are just thinking about themselves who harass and bully their team member(s) just because he/she doesn't like his/her. The company OK's it and no one cares, even HR doesn't care.

Anyone who stays at Cisco for more than 15 years is entitled to become a manager, director, or VP. Simply put, they are just "representing" the team, not managing the team.

That's the culture of Cisco that never ever changes. So what are those surveys for? Whatever we answer, how we candidly, honestly answer, nothing changes. So what on earth are those surveys for?

I agree with the post that companies should remain apolitical. But that's not Cisco ELT is it? They encourage you to bring your "authentic self" to work as long as it agrees with their politics. Diversity of thought not permitted.

Ding! Ding! Ding! You got it. No one cares what you think. Nothing will change. You have a choice, stay or leave. You can also wait for Cisco to pay you to leave with all the LRs.

If you’re not happy make the change you need. Make your exit plan.

Bad scores on Pulse only creates drama and more work. Just blow smoke and put the 5's, lay low, and collect the fatty paycheck.

If your group gives management a really bad score you'll get an air hockey table and a single one hour mandatory "fun time" meeting where you'll be forced to use it before it's abandoned forever. Years before another group we just got laughed at for a really bad score. Now that there is progress!

They ask the same questions time after time. We give the same answers time after time. And they do nothing about it, time after time. Quality, complexity, TAC. We telling them. And they do nothing. I ignore them these days.

Make sure you fill out the daily survey about the weekly survey!

ELT doesn’t see or care about the results. Makes me wonder if “senior leadership” filters the bad feedback before presenting them up the chain.
