GN&T Wireline notified yesterday. This IS real!
I know of an enterprise sales director who was RIFed today. And much of the supply chain sourcing and sustainability headcount will be moving to the new Center of Excellence in Ireland without the option of relocation for US employees (Wave 1 in March, Wave 2 in June).
For All those saying there has not been an RIF it's disrespectful to the people who were affected today. Confirmed via a meeting Yes GNT was affected.

Layoffs today in GNT. Manager didn’t give specifics but seems to be a fair amount of people. They’ll be transitioning from their roles so not an immediate layoff.
Yep. Verizon started RIFs today 11/9/23. Just got my notice. Manager read from a script in less than 5 minutes after decades of service to the Company.
