GTS Gov contracts

Who’s going to support Gov customers now that the people with clearance were laid off. Can contractors do the job on behalf of Verizon?

Did VZ think about the possibility of Businesses and the Government pulling their service and contracts from Verizon when it’s become apparent their accounts are being worked by offshore employees? Seems like a breech waiting to happen.

Contractors cannot do the job unless they are onshore and have a clearance. HCL, infy , and all other India based contractors have no problems lying about where they are located. They do it all the time. They also lie about “masking” offshore data. But if it’s government clearance work, they will have to be in an onshore office. It will be monitored very closely. Clearance required.

The Government is ok using an offshore based company such as HCL to handle and process their data?
