To anyone saying you can just lie to a customer and run away you clearly don’t know these roles currently.
The fiber role might be one of the hardest roles in all of T. The goals are unattainable without a major amount of referrals and/or cheating. By cheating I
Mean selling into platinum accounts and using a stray sub account.
It looks like they could be planning to merge fiber and mobility into one role selling all products. This has been done before and failed.
Platinum already sells wired and mobility but they have mobility overlays who assist them.
All upgrades on dedicated fiber and rip and replaces are bing charged back and some seller are being placed on discipline.

Some people thing it will be a free for all next year for all of mid market to just be open hunting.

Platinum is where the most questionable activity occurs. If the business ever decided to look into the reported results, they would effectively eliminate the division. Management is highly skillful if manufacturing sales reporting, often time these are the most tenured leaders. They’ve gotten away with it so long it seems acceptable.

MM-Platinum = these people knew someone, otherwise they would have let go a long time ago. A quick audit of their sales would decimate 75% of sellers an 95% of Directors.

BAT- won’t be a viable channel for much longer, everyone knows this.

Fiber- rip and replace sales. Upgrades reported as new.

MM-Platinum has some of the worst sellers I've ever seen, -on a good day these people are maybe one level up from a Best-Buy rep -How this is considered a well-run viable organization and continues to survive is beyond me.

BAT- why is this even a sales model-no accountability, just do whatever it takes to write the business then walk away, lie to a customer, promise X but only deliver Y- no worries someone else will have to clean it up.

Fiber-many shenanigans going on there.

Fiber is the place to be, you can cheat daily and keep your job. Upgrades have no punishment besides revoked SIPS.

Platinum - report mobility plans as wireline sales
BAT - report other segment sales for placing the ordered for them
Fiber - well we all know what is going on there

Business divisions will be consolidated again in January. Ambiguous assignment and management is a direct result of the impending change. No sense in solidifying organizational structure when it will definitively change in 45 days.

Platinum is supposedly not having any more layoffs this year. It’s pretty chaotic there right now though. Inconsistent messaging from managers and directors.no team culture. Roles and responsibilities changing everyday.
