Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Trust me, Chuck Robbins’s favorite trick is to take something irrelevant out of context and repeat it over and over again until it is cited as established fact. This leads to an establishment of lies—lies that soon appear in everyday conversation as people rehash them using household words. Robbins’s goal is for people to quickly lose their ability to see that Robbins does not believe in the rule of law. He does not believe in facts. He does not believe in logic. He believes only that anything that does not show proper deference to him is inherently self-involved. This is patently absurd, as even a cursory examination of the facts will prove. In any event, the picture I am presenting need not be confined to Robbins’s values. It applies to everything he says and does.

It's like the people here saying Cisco only lays off the talented and keeps the clueless and down voting anything saying people should take responsibility for their own careers. Hint: if this were true and they kept you, you are the clueless. You were all made for each other.

Chuck is highly skilled at manipulating people and has absolutely no empathy. Avoid his buzzwords and used car salesman tactics.
