I get that there was a lot of unnecessary racism but there were also valid complaints about things a lot of people weren't aware of. Why is WF trying to hide this rather than just police the thread?
The fact that offshore is treated better than onshore shouldn't be hidden by a management that claims to embrace candor.
If people would read the rules, found at the bottom of every page here, they'd be less concerned about fake things, like WF owning this site, and more worried about their peers posting things that get modded/deleted.
You can look up any company on this site, but the WF pages are very telling.
WF people have a need to post a lot of non-layoff related issues, and don't seem to know that there are more useful websites for that.

If you search this forum for the therm 'offshore', you'll find dozens, if not hundreds, threads covering the subject, and tame goes for the terms like India or H1B. So it's not that which triggered the deletion. I haven't seen the previous thread, but my two cents would be that it got pulled for foul language, as posts containing personal insults, racial or ethnic slur aren't allowed here (outlined somewhere in the ToS at the page footer).

Reality is the deletion of topics, describing nefarious actions, perpetrated by nefarious individuals, to meet nefarious objectives is not odd at all. It serves the purpose of removing any content deemed unacceptable by the ruling class and is a horrible act of censorship.
In this case, offshoring/out-sourcing U.S. jobs to the Third World workplaces struck a nerve somewhere up the chain. Any contributors to the deleted thread deserve kudos for all of their valuable content submissions!
You can CTRL + F “India” and find 3 other nutso posts from the last few days on the first page. It would not ki-l you guys to have the least bit of honesty before you started crying victim
