We know there will be more layoffs, but if I understand correctly, not before next year. Can we be certain of this? I'd really like to be able to stop stressing at least for the two weeks we have left before Christmas. I know that after that it will be back to normal (and it's sad that layoffs are considered the new normal) but I would appreciate a short break before then.

I’ve consistently heard org changes are expected to start “cascading” into teams in January. Some potentially extending into Feb.
Hard to say! My thinking is that they don’t want to do anything to jeopardize the North America SAP release … so if your group is anyway involved in that you probably have a reprieve till mid January. That would be the rational thing to do, so no guarantee given our current leadership.
