Who wants to bet there'll be more layoffs before the end of the year? I've been here a while, and in the last few years, there have always been some cuts right before the year's end. It's never anything major, but it happens like clockwork. I do hope this year will be different, but I doubt it.

Too bad Enron didn't sell mobile service or internet. They would still be thriving.
Joe Biden has nothing to do with the "wise" decisions that "leadership" has done to place AT&T into more debt in the history of American Capitalism. That is Randy and Stankey and NO ONE else.
AT&T has a very, very dangerous amount of debt. Enron had less debt before it collapsed.
IN 3 more days the SE will have its surplus list per the contract.
The Workday machine will be fired up in 2024.
From a layoff perspective especially due to RTO and forced relocations, buckle up everyone!
Get rid of those unneeded workers.
More layoffs! Stinks only trick in the T Goat Rodeo.
"Entire teams let go without any early signs from upper management."
Except for corporate-wide mandates and warnings put out globally at the beginning of the year. No one should feel caught off guard.

Entire teams let go without any early signs from upper management

I’m guessing last notifications were Dec 1st, after HRBP was already complete.
Premtechs in the west getting cut, Dec 15 notice.
Just know that we appreciate all of your efforts throughout the year, and as we reflect on what we've accomplished, we hope that you take some time with your family and friends to recharge your batteries during this Holiday season and come back "recharged" in the New Year, ready to take on the challenges that await us, until we're able to lay your sorry aZZ off.
I'm guessing major cuts at the beginning of the year. Happy Sc--w Year!
Merry Christmas from the Stink!
Nope, not with the implementation of workday.
Can't happen, with the Workday implementation, there is no way to submit business cases to HRBP for review and approval. Once Workday comes online, game on.
