Looking for US experience with refusing to sign waiver before leaving, and taking up your case with work place attorneys. Cisco pays few months severance (one can claim unemployment) but other benefits like PTO hours saved etc. should still get paid. Any other disadvantages? Any good attorneys and contact details for US employees? Didn’t see any post related to this so curious, may be affected employees join & collaborate… thanks for your insights.

Oh we have a smart one here. Gonna sue a company that makes $50B a year with all your life savings. For what? Ten days of PTO? Makes perfect sense.
Lawyer up and threaten to go to the media. You’ll get your PTO paid out.
sign and walk away.
Cisco has perfected the layoff machinery for decades. Cannot beat the wall.
All and all it was just another brick in the LR wall.
You'll lose money if you don't sign the waver and lose money by trying to take legal action against CSCO.
Just sign the waiver and move on with your life. You will lose otherwise. And even if you win you’ll be public enemy number one.
Waste of money. Cisco has a very experienced lawyer team, and has done these layoffs for 20+ years. They have the formula down. And Cisco does pay for unused PTO. Sign the waiver and move on.
