Genuinely don't see how another round doesn't happen. Morale is below the floor, people are checked out.

@OP take the rest of the year off. My whole team is off the rest of the year started on 12/11, thanks to our accumulated “comp time” that must be utilized by EOY. Thank you chuckles for allowing the David Copperfield’s process to generate free time off for our entire team for yet another year. Your largesse and leadership is phenomenal surely the CIO spot is in your future.

It’s a universal truth that anyone of any race/creed/gender who craves power and position will abuse the power and position once they have it.

Most ethically run companies realize this and will seek to elevate the humble and service oriented individuals to positions of power, and marginalize the power hungry.

@pjn Yeah right..... just like New Coke, Hooters airlines, Kmart/Sears, Kodak, Google glass, The XFL, all seemed like great ideas/companies too. None of them survived disasterous decision making.

Welp..sounds good. What else is new? Anyone with half a brain can see this coming so congrats. Lets keep stating it over and over on this board....I guess this is a hint and a half for you to come up with a strategy to navigate. No one cares about the people on H1B especially not management. I find more and more of them are there because they have a person on the inside in a supervisor or management position / flat out lied on their resume / interview. Not actually sure how they are pulling it off but somehow they feel ok risking their status in country on faking it until they make it. Or...finding someone who helps them with almost everything. I have to say it takes guts to risk being in a different country and not know what you're doing at your job.

On the contrary, the Ford+ Plan is shifting growth to Model e and software/services areas of the company (reference recent Town Hall). I don't expect reductions in these areas.

With a significant focus on quality (also reference the recent Toen Hall), it appears to be a growth phase for the company in 2024.

Legacy areas may be optimized with the focus on BEV's/mobility however.
