Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WFH rest of year

Heard this morning that Citi is allowing their employees to work remote the rest of the year. Would be nice if they did that hear.

Maybe the real question is: why does WF insist on increasing risk by forcing people they will term to go to the office? They could be smart like Citi, but instead they are just evil and petty and want to jack your morale by forcing you to watch the never ending stream of crushed employees being thrown away by Hudson yards like so much trash. The more psychological damage the better according to the HY crowd. GD savages.

My department is allowing us to work from home the last 2 weeks of the year. Have your manager check with their manager. It hasn’t been widely communicated.

Another treasure trove of posting fools who didn’t real the entire story nor understand why Citi employees were told to work from home (save for two who understood the assignment). No wonder our bank is faltering.

The one bank in worse shape than we are is Citi, so this isn't making these point you think you think it's making.

Some LOBs have been told the next two weeks we'll have flexibility in meeting the three days. Basically, sounds like they just won't enforce it until the turn of the year.

Hudson Yards know it would be nice, which is exactly why those Kun+$ won't be doing it.

Citi hears their people. Here, the leadership doesn't hear, nor care. I expect to see you here in the office this whole month, Grasshopper.

I've been WFH since 2019. My manager said something to me a few times about RTO, but I just told him I forgot to come in.

Yeah, Citi is doing this to avoid in office "situations" due to impending layoffs. Easier to cut somebody when they're already at home, and you can just box their stuff up and ship it to them. Apparently, you've never heard of Operation Bora Bora.
